Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Fort Lauderdale, FL Pay: $300k - 600k
Annual Job Type: Full-Time Permanent Onsite Schedule: Mix of
inpatient & outpatient Shared call (10-12 days/month, incl. 2
weekends) A growing and mission-driven healthcare system in South
Florida is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join
its team. This is a key position with the opportunity to help build
and expand the cardiothoracic program as the second surgeon on
staff. Key Responsibilities: Perform a broad range of
cardiothoracic surgical procedures Manage inpatient and outpatient
care including clinic and rounding Share in on-call coverage
rotation (10-12 days/month) Collaborate within a multidisciplinary
care team Utilize EPIC EMR system Average patient volume: 20 per
day Requirements: Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
(required) Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery (required) Active
FL license or in progress Minimum 6 years of post-training
experience Clean malpractice and licensure history Not open to
recent grads, part-time/locum providers, or those commuting over 1
hour J1 visa candidates accepted (must be clearly noted in
